Located approximately six blocks from the Pentagon and two miles from the Washington Monument, this site has been developed so that all of America can enjoy visiting the Nation's Capital through the gifts and souvenirs we offer. We also welcome the opportunity to monthly update our site and bring to you historical, informational, and calander of events; as well as other facts about Washington, D.C.. The staff here at Capitol Shopping Mall have all lived in the Washington area for at least 30 years. Many staff members have worked with Government agencies such as the National Archives, Presidential Campaign Committees, as well as public organizations. Their knowledge of Washington, and the cultural events which constantly reflect the ever changing pulse of our Nation, brings a fresh and unique insight about this great city to Gift Shops of Washington, D.C..

This site is dedicated to all people of all backgrounds, ethnic origins, and religious beliefs that bring together this tapestry of diversified heritage which makes the United States of America the most unique and dynamic cultural and governmental body in the world.
